Route: Day 1

Part 1:
Camp to lunch. Through rocky terrain in nyack beach state park, past a ghost town, and finally up a one mile hill and then some in bear mountain. But it is all ok because at the top we found the most beautiful lake, and an ice cream machine

Part 2:
Bear mountain to our final camp site. We were exhausted when we arrived, but so excited for dinner, beer, and a dip in the lake. Of course we had to pay 21 dollars first and the lake isn't open for swimming until tomorrow

What we're doing ... Why we're here

After weeks of being asked this by worrying family, naysayers, and intrigued older folks, I'm still not quite sure of the answer, at least not one that can be easily expressed.  After weeks of covering ourselves in bike greese, getting in wrestling matches with our panniers,  cursing the hills and seeing the quirks of america, we might figure it out. All I know is that WEVE COME UP
